Thanks, Oswegan. This one was photographed across the street from my window at work. A homeless woman that I knew of, Fay, was murdered in a drive-by. This memorial was created by her homeless friends.
I've seen other sites that are devoted to photographed memorials. Beautiful. I would love to do a book. Unfortunately, I'm not so crazy about my pix. But I would love to photograph the ones in Mexico - those are phenomenal.

This one is pretty cool. There is a portfolio of roadside graves/memorials in this months Aperture. Its very well done.

Come to think of it, Oswegan, my photos of memorials are what gave me the idea for "zip shots." I categorize my memorial shots only with the zip code.
